Attorney Ribas is a member of the firm and practices in the firm’s Litigation Department, operating out of the Trumbull office.
He is extremely well-versed as to both the federal and Connecticut debt collection practices acts. John is experienced in all aspects of foreclosure and contract collection litigation, including pre- and post-judgment filings, court appearances and appellate issues, including briefing and argument. He has handled foreclosure actions on behalf of a variety of clients, including condominium associations, national banks and local lenders. Attorney Ribas also has extensive experience in housing matters, bankruptcy, and general civil litigation.
Attorney Ribas graduated from Bates College in 2005, where he played on the school’s baseball team. He received his juris doctor from Quinnipiac School of Law in 2009, cum laude. He is licensed to practice in Connecticut and the United States Federal District Courts in Connecticut.
Attorney Ribas lives in Shelton with his family. He is an avid supporter and lifelong member of the Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley and presently serves on its Alumni Committee.
